Masks Unmasked

Updated: Mar 1, 2020

Why is a hair mask so important to healthy, beautiful hair? Find out why, and how to choose the best one for your hair.

Let’s take a moment to talk about hair masks. Sometimes referred to as deep conditioners or treatments, masks are essential to your home hair care regimen. They can give you the hair of your dreams and it could be the piece of your hair care routine that’s missing. If you are having issues with damage, dryness, frizz, or color fading, masks are the solution you’re looking for to salvage your strands.

I use and recommend Keune's Care Line at the salon suite. Each product is packed with the Care line’s Essential Mineral Complex which includes zinc, iron, copper, silicium, and magnesium. These minerals work together to treat the hair for healthy, beautiful results. The hair can only accept so much of a good thing at once, so all the goodness accumulates into your hair with each use. Treating your hair with these products regularly is the way to see real results. There is a solution for all hair care concerns, and it's important to use the correct product for your specific issue. Here’s a quick guide to help choose the best mask for your hair.

COLOR BRILLIANZ MASK Color fading issues? Try this one. It extends the life of your color with a restoring formula that repairs, strengthens and protects the hair. -What's in it? Color Sealing Complex. UVA and UVB filters. Sunflower seed extract.

VITAL NUTRITION MASK Need some repair? This mask strengthens the inner structure of the hair, improves elasticity and soothes damaged strands. It is super lightweight, so it’s a great option for fine or thin hair. -What's in it? Nutri-Injection Technology and Essential Mineral Complex.

KERATIN SMOOTH MASK Feeling frizzy? Enrich and smooth hair with strengthening keratin. With this mask your hair will be stronger, shinier and more manageable. -What's in it? Hair Strengthening Complex. Keravis.

HOW TO USE A MASK After shampooing, towel dry your hair then apply your mask. Comb it through so that each strand is fully saturated. For long or thick hair, apply more if needed. Twist your hair into a loose bun and let the treatment sit for 3-5 minutes. Rinse well and feel the results instantly. Remember to do this once a week (twice if you need extra care) and enjoy shiny, more manageable hair on a regular basis.

Stop by the salon and pick up the mask that is best suited for your hair care concerns. Or book an in-salon deep conditioning treatment with your next appointment. Click on the link to book online 24/7. https://squareup.com/appointments/book/BFXF8T9VQZZFX/rachel-s-hair-salon-woodstock-ga
